Well the Globalwarming Awareness2007 SEO contest is coming close to its end and we are pushing our way up to the top. There is only about two and a half weeks left and we still have a couple tricks up our sleeves. I don’t want to give away any SEO secrets so I won’t go into detail about our strategy other than saying that we are going to be focusing on pushing our rankings in MSN up a good bit. It has been a while since we got cached by MSN so we are expecting a refreshing cache in the next day or so.
Since the beginning of the SEO contest, I have learned a lot of how the different search engines choose to display information and how subtle changes can make their impacts. It is also interesting to see how many backlinks some companies can build in a matter of 90 days. It is almost a backlink structure muscle flex! While some companies are focusing all their efforts just on SEO backlinks, we have a more refined strategy and won’t tell anyone what it is until we see if it works or not. So.. if you are reading this after the end of the globalwarming awareness2007 SEO contest and we have finished in the top 5, I will be happy to explain what we did to get there. Until then, you just have to try your own strategy and see if it works. Goodluck to all you SEOs out there!

The oceans are a big ol’ heat bucket. Globalwarming awareness2007 found out that scientists have known this for a long time.
From The Cause of the Ice Age and Geological Climates by Marsden Manson, Newton Horace Winchell, and Frederick Danvers Power published in 1892:
“Thus the Ice Age marks the date at which the climates of the globe passed the control of earth heat to that of solar heat. The great specific heat of water retained in the oceans the energy necessary to maintain the cloud shield shutting out solar heat until both land and ocean areas could be equally cooled and contracted, thus ensuring the maximum of degree of stability to the crust. The mysteries of geological climates develop thus into a system beautiful in its simplicity.”
Where is a lot of the heat going from the resulting build up of greenhouse gases? It goes into the oceans which cover most of the earth. The oceans are a huge contributing factor to the weather and a huge repository of excess energy. If there is an energy imbalance, globalwarming awareness2007 wonders if the earth may correct the imbalance as it has in the past.
It’s So Hot
You know Globalwarming awareness2007 has hit its peak when you start seeing videos like this. I don’t remember taking it to this level of pessimism when I was going on ten which was during the energy crisis of the late 1970’s. I remember my father getting up early on Saturday’s to get in line at the gas station. People were siphoning and stealing gas in shopping center parking lots. President Carter actually asked people to turn off their Christmas decorations. I worried my little ten year old self to death believing that there wasn’t going to be any oil left when I grew up. The only thing that could one up this video would be a return of the Dancing Raisins doing their thing about globalwarming awareness with Snoop Dogg.

Japan makes globalwarming awareness2007 number one priority!
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his government ministers are taking steps to persuade the United States and China to accept a new package of proposals to combat greenhouse gases. The best minds from Japan have meticulously thought out and researched the proposals to ensure China and the U.S participate. Smacking them squarely in the face is one of them.
Polar Bears and globalwarming awareness2007
Polar Bears love seals. Absolutely love them. Unfortunately, when the seals are gone, so are the polar bears. Retreating ice in the southern ocean is changing the seal’s habitat.
The Mayans believed in the importance of time. By recording it on their calendars, they believed they could transcend it. Believing that catastrophes were sent by gods dependent on time, they keenly observed the passage of time but without the aid of precision instruments - no clocks, telescopes, or hourglass. To the Mayans, knowing time meant knowing the processions of the stars and therefore the future.

In the beginning was the figure 13, the symbol of time.
Birth of man - the union of 13 with 20, or 260 years or the Sacred Round Calendar
Life of man - union of the Sacred Round time and solar time, or 52 years.
Life of the world - 52 times 20 - 1,040 years
Life of the universe - five worlds, or 1,040 times 5 - 5,200 years.
Mayan time starting point: 3114 B.C
Each world has 1,040 years.
The end of the Mayan fourth world: 1046 A.D
The Mayans believed they lived in the fourth world. The height of their civilization occurred between 2000 B.C. and 900 A.D. Is it likely that during the ninth century, a congress of astronomer-priests convened at Xochicalco to discuss the coming catastrophe and seek out ways to divert it? Did they deliberately decide to flee their cities giving up everything to avoid disaster? For the Mayans, extremely bad drought, heavy deforestation, and land exhaustion was happening towards the end of the ninth and tenth centuries. Perhaps the astronomer-priests averted total disaster but at a high cost. By the time the Spanish conquistadors arrived, the Mayans had forgotten their beautiful, magnificent cities even once existed.
The period in which we live in now is the fifth world. It is also the final world.
2012 A.D. - This date marks the end of the 13th 400 year period. A significant date, according to the Mayans. But what will happen?
Nasa predicts the height of a severe solar storm.
Some predict polar shift.
Others say, like the Mayans, we may be predicting disaster but will the solution come at a high cost similar to their outcome?

Global warming and frog extinction
Global warming is linked to an amphibian holocaust. Sesame Street predicted this years ago when the man who hated frogs first noticed an increase in the level of flies. The ecological balance was tipping and the man who hated frogs sent out the alert to television viewers. Few viewers took heed as many were instead searching for free-range cheerios.

The established view is that globalwarming has been caused by rising carbon dioxide and emission levels. This data has been found to be incorrect. New interpretation of the scientific findings has lead to the conclusion that the recent increase in globalwarming has been caused by the one and only HeatMiser!

How to save a life with the forthcoming global warming catastrophe upon us? We start by decreasing the amount of energy we use like oil. We can all make our small contributions to stay above the fray such as buying new hybrid cars. However, when compared to the levels of energy consumed by industry, any personal conservation efforts on the whole are dwarfed. The amount of oil used by industry in transportation and product manufacture is colossal. Furthermore, when industry switches to the latest in alternative fuel technology in an attempt to conserve oil, this may have disastrous consequences in trying to help stem global warming. In economics, there is a paradox known as the Jevons paradox that states any improved resource efficiency may trigger a change in the overall use of consumption of that resource. For example, the switch to bio-fuels made possible by technological advances has increased the demand for corn which has pushed up the price of corn tortillas. For many poor people, food made from corn is a staple. Pushing up the price of corn consequently results in hunger and starvation in some parts of the world. Another example is the use of palm oil as an alternative fuel. The use of palm oil has created ecological disasters. You may think that how to save a life starts with you but the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry and often for naught.
Warning: This article draws upon many existing theories, scientific fact, theoretical physics, and poses many theoretical suggestions meant to question and challenge what we know and understand about global warming and earthly cycles.
My theory is that Globalwarming Awareness2007 also known as Global Warming is nothing we can control and is more of a symptom than anything else. Globalwarming is part of an earthly cycle that will repeat itself whether we like it or not.
First I will start by discussing the Piri Reis Map of 1513 and the importance this plays in earthly cycles and ultimately my theory. If you don’t know what this map is or the significance of this map I will explain briefly. In 1929 historians found a map on gazelle skin that research has verified it was drawn in 1513 by Piri Reis. He was a famous Turkish admiral who loved cartography. He also had access to the Imperial Library of Constantinople which ruled the land from about 300-1500ad. The admiral sources on his map that he gathered his information from maps in that library that dated back 400bc or earlier. Many of the maps Piri Reis used in this library were collected from the Library of Alexandria one of the most ancient well-known libraries.
The reason this map is so strange is that it charts Antarctica with no ice on it’s northern coast. The map’s detail is stunningly accurate to today’s aerial surveying using ground penetrating radar to get through the nearly 1 mile thick ice. Accurate Geographical studies prove that the last period of ice-free conditions in the Antarctic ended around 3000-4000bc, approximately 6000 years ago.
This map has been studied by Professors, top scientist, and the U.S. government for nearly a century to which the only conclusion can be drawn is in the letter from Harold Ohlmeyer, Colonel, USAF Commander.

Subject: Admiral Piri Reis Map

Keene, New Hampshire
Dear Professor Hapgood,
Your request of evaluation of certain unusual features of the Piri Reis map of 1513 by this organization has been reviewed.
The claim that the lower part of the map portrays the Princess Martha Coast of Queen Maud Land, Antarctic, and the Palmer Peninsular, is reasonable. We find that this is the most logical and in all probability the correct interpretation of the map.
The geographical detail shown in the lower part of the map agrees very remarkably with the results of the seismic profile made across the top of the ice-cap by the Swedish-British Antarctic Expedition of 1949.
This indicates the coastline had been mapped before it was covered by the ice-cap.
The ice-cap in this region is now about a mile thick.
We have no idea how the data on this map can be reconciled with the supposed state of geographical knowledge in 1513.
The only logical explanation is that someone was on, at, or above Antarctic nearly 6000 years ago with the scientific equipment and capabilities to accurately chart land thousands of miles long to a degree of accuracy that can only be measured by aerial surveying as stated by Mallery and Walters who was the Chief Engineer of the U.S. Navy’s Hydrographic Bureau in 1953.
Using our existing traditional history, our current oldest society is considered to be close to 5000 years old and developed in the mid-east around 3000bc. Obviously we have some serious gaps here and we need to bridge what we know through theoretical physics, geology, ancient religious documents, and science to develop a new theory that pulls all the knowledge from different eras, geographic locations, and fields of study into a single cohesive explanation.
Because we are examining the time and sequence in which events took place, it is important that we have a very good understanding of time. In order to do so we need to look at how we record time. Currently we use the Gregorian Calendar system which is based off of pre-existing calendars, and astronomy. Most notably, the calendar we use can be translated into an ancient calendar only by establishing one day from the Gregorian into the Maya calendar then all other Gregorian dates translate accurately into the Mayan calendar. The GMT correlation establishes that the 0.0.0.0.0 creation date occurred on 3114 BCE September 6 (Julian) or 3114 BCE August 11 (Gregorian). This can be verified through astronomical, ethnographical, carbon dating, and historical resources.
Because of this, the accuracy of the Mayan calendar has been unparalleled since it’s creation. This is very important because the Mayan Calendar has additional parts that are not included in the Gregorian Calendar that we currently use. The Mayan culture viewed time in both a linear and cyclical view which was created from observing the patterns and cycles in the sky. The cycles that are most prevalent in our society and calendar is the observation of days, months, weeks, and year. The Mayan’s cycles were measured in 13 day, 20 day, 365 day, and 52 year cycles. Although their numeral system was calculated differently than we do today, we can see that the Mayan cycles are still accurate through the GMT translation. The one cycle that is often not discussed or discounted is one of the fundamental theories and the basis to how we Mayans wrote the Calendar and how we record time today which is known as the Long Count.
In short, when the Long Count is translated into the Gregorian calendar, it has an equivalent span of approximately 5125 years. Because this count is cyclical, it has happened before. The end of the previous long count cycle was in 3113bc and the end of the next Long Count will be on December 20, 2012. Considering this is part of the most accurate calendar in existence and the basis to how we record time today, I would say this is pretty important.
Because the rest of the cycles are drawn from astronomy, planetary, and lunar cycles, the Long Count must have some significance and purpose in it’s creation. The end of the Long Count must complete a cycle. Now begs the obvious question, “What cycle does it complete?”
We know from the Piri Reis Map that around the end of the previous Long Count cycle (around 3114bc) that Antarctica was not covered by Ice while modern science puts the Ice Gathering around the time of the beginning of the new Long Count cycle. Now if we tap into religious documents such as the Bible and some of the oldest stories ever written by Homer such as the Epic of Gilgamesh we find that there is a massive flood covering the earth which also happens to be around 3000bc or the same time frame of the end of the previous Long Count cycle.
These are two major events that may not seem to relate until you consider the very few possibilities that could create either scenario by itself and even fewer that could be the cause of both. If the earth’s north and south pole switched locations, which is known as polar shift, we could see exactly this type of activity. The existing Polar caps would melt causing major disruptions in ocean currents. Climates would shift, Ocean levels would rise hundreds if not thousands of feet. Society would have been reduced to survival mode for thousands and thousands of years. A Majority of humanity would have been killed. It would be as if humanity started over. Very few artifacts would have survived. The story of the flood would have been passed down from generation to generation evolving to religious writings, stories, and myth.
It’s possible that Antarctica has not always been the location of the South which would explain why there are detailed maps of an iceless Antarctica.
Now that you may have a basic understanding of the theory we must examine the details more closely and see if history has any other clues. According to the Mayan’s who created the Calendar, this Long Count is a cycle that repeats itself and has repeated 4-5 times already. If we go back in time one more Long Count which would be approximately 8239bc we don’t have much information. We are far enough back in time that we don’t have much recorded history if any at all. But what we do have is the writings from a Greek Philosopher name Plato. Although Plato lived in the 400bc time area he wrote a story embedded in a dialogue between Timaeus and Critias. He spoke of an Island named Atlantis. He wrote that this Island was well beyond the pillars of Hercules, meaning it was far away from the Roman Empire, then being most of Europe. This Island was said to be the in the Atlantic Ocean and was said to have been destroyed nearly overnight.
Although some may say Atlantis never existed, we can’t let the time period of this Island vanishing escape us. This would have been right at the point when a previous Long Count ended and a new Long Count began. If that had taken place, all that would be left today would be myth. According to the myth, Atlantis was a utopian society that had a natural source of energy that powered their society. It’s said that they were very technologically advanced and possibly had more powerful technology than we know today including aircraft. They would have had the type of technology to have charted the skies, created calendars, created detailed maps of earth. What if this entire society was wiped away due to massive earthquakes and flooding as a result of a Polar Shift. How little would we know about it today?
How Real Is Polar Shifting and Could It happen to Earth?
Polar Shifting is not fiction. NASA has been observing the Magnetic Pole shift in the sun for years now. Our sun has a pole shift cycle in which the North and South Pole’s switch every 11 years at the peak of the Sunspot Cycle. The Sunspot is critical at measuring and calculating the Pole Shift because the Sunspot is basically an explosion of magnetic energy and signifies when the Magnetic Fields from the North and South pole have created too much friction where they run opposite directions.
On Earth we don’t get visible magnetic explosions because our crust is not covered with a nuclear reacting fire. However, we can still get the surges in magnetic fields similar to the Sun Spots. For centuries boats and planes have mysteriously vanished in the “Bermuda Triangle”. Large magnetic explosions would render navigational devices useless and could disrupt the surface tension of the water making it nearly impossible to navigate through. Could our Earth’s own physiology explain this mystery? It’s a long shot but I challenge anyone to be able to disprove this.
Summary:
Our Earth has a very long history of which we know little about. The best we can do is put together information and make hypothesis and theories. I wouldn’t say that on December 20, 2012 the earth will be destroyed but I am saying that we need to consider the possibility that Global Warming is only a symptom of a more sinister outcome. We may see the biggest change the earth has seen in over 5000 years over the next decade. Do a little research by reading up on the links that discuss the major points here and decide for yourself. One thing is for sure, we still have the detailed ancient map of Antarctica with no ice. How do you choose to explain that?
The speech on the Senate floor by Senator Inhofe sums up global warming in 2006. Let’s see if any senators respond to globalwarming awareness in 2007.
Excerpt:
“Since 1895, the media has alternated between global cooling and warming scares during four separate and sometimes overlapping time periods. From 1895 until the 1930’s the media peddled a coming ice age.
From the late 1920’s until the 1960’s they warned of global warming. From the 1950’s until the 1970’s they warned us again of a coming ice age. This makes modern global warming the fourth estate’s fourth attempt to promote opposing climate change fears during the last 100 years. ”
Read the whole speech here.
Back in 1974, Time magazine had an article about global cooling. Not global warming. Thats correct - coooooling. Drawing on extraordinary popular delusions and the madness of crowds, Time knew how to sell magazines. Has anything changed? It seems to take just over a generation to completely forget what was in the popular mind. What was old is new again. Global warming awareness in 2007 looks to reach new heights.
Concerned about global warming melting ice caps? Maybe we should all run to the hills. Before you do that though, have a drink first. Fill your glass with some ice cubes. Notice that as the ice cubes melt, what happens? Does the amount of liquid increase and cause your drink to overflow? No, the level stays the same. The amount of liquid displaced by the ice is replaced by the volume of water that has melted. For this very same reason, you shouldn’t worry about sea levels rising as the result of global warming melting ice caps, icebergs or frozen penquins. Stay right where you are and have another drink.
This new site is dedicated to providing information on Globalwarming Awareness2007. Although this site is entering the SEO contest in which the keyword is “Globalwarming Awareness2007″ we hope that this contest helps to raise the issue to a new level of understanding.
What Exactly is Globalwarming Awareness2007. Global warming is when the earth’s temperature increases in degrees. It is on a macro level and doesn’t take into consideration if it just feels hotter in your area or not. There are a lot of factors in global warming including raise in CO2 levels, greenhouse gases, and methane gases. These gases rise into our ozone creating a thicker ozone. Once sunlight has entered our atmosphere, the thicker atmosphere reflects more of the UV rays back down to earth versus allowing them to escape back into space. The reflected UV rays come back down to earth meaning we not only receive our typical dose of UV, we receive more with the addition of the bounced back UV rays thus heating the earth’s temperature.
There are multiple effects global warming can have on communities ranging from mild to drastic. Some of the mild effects include warmer, milder winters globally. Those types of effects don’t seem to be that much of a bother. Some of the more drastic effects globalwarming can have is that it is melting the polar icecaps at an alarming rate. This is causing a huge dump of fresh water into the oceans which could raise the ocean’s water line. Apart from that decreasing MT. Everest overall height, it has a much more sinister impact. If enough fresh water gets dumped into the oceans, it pushes the saltwater down increasing the density of the water in the ocean’s depths. This could possibly disrupt the natural Atlantic Current which brings heat to and from on this planet. If you have ever seen the movie “Day after Tomorrow” it follows this same premise. Once heat is no longer distributed throughout the earth we would see parts of earth that are currently habitable become inhabitable. Regions would freeze while other regions would burn. It could create a global catastrophe.
I doubt it would happen abruptly like in the movie but some of the threats in that movie would become real threats over time. There are many more issues, effects, impacts, and I have yet to touch the topic of what we can do if anything to stop this from happening but I hope you have an overview of what Globalwarming Awareness2007 is about and how Global warming would impact us all.
